Description

Kable Kontrol® 2:1 Diesel Resistant Heat Shrink Tubing is a high-performance elastomeric heat shrink solution, constructed from polyolefin, engineered for applications where exposure to diesel fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, and aggressive chemicals is unavoidable. It provides superior protection for cables, wire harnesses, brake lines, solder joints, terminals, and electrical connections in harsh operating environments. This tubing delivers a reliable 2:1 shrink ratio, forming a snug, protective jacket that resists abrasion, cutting, and vibration-related damage. Its flame-retardant properties and wide operating temperature range -75°C to 150°C (-103°F to 302°F) make it well-suited for transportation, industrial, and military applications where safety and durability are critical. Designed to meet MIL-DTL-23053/16, this diesel-resistant heat shrink maintains flexibility after recovery, ensuring long-lasting performance without cracking or hardening. Sold in full spools, it’s an excellent choice for maintenance crews, OEMs, and large-scale installations requiring dependable chemical and mechanical protection.
