Description

In high-temperature environments, cable failure can shut down operations, damage equipment, and create serious safety risks. The Kable Kontrol® Heat Resistant Silicone Jacketed Fiberglass Wire Sleeve is engineered to eliminate that worry by delivering dependable protection where ordinary insulation simply cannot survive. Constructed from high-quality, non-alkali fiberglass yarn and coated with a durable silicone jacket, this sleeve provides a powerful combination of thermal insulation, flame resistance, and electrical stability. It maintains performance at continuous temperatures up to 260°C (500°F), resists heat aging, and withstands emergency exposure up to 1650°C (3002°F) for 30 seconds, ideal for demanding industrial environments. Flexible, soft, and easy to install, this sleeving safeguards cables, hoses, and wires in steel production, smelting, glass manufacturing, and any other application where extreme heat is part of the job. With VW-1 flammability, UL1441 1.6 kV withstand voltage, and ROHS compliance, it delivers the reliability and safety modern industries depend on. When high heat threatens productivity, this sleeving ensures your cables stay protected, reducing downtime, improving safety, and extending equipment life.
