Description

Kable Kontrol® Heat Shrink Tape Wrap is an innovative solution designed for repairing damaged wires and protecting pipes without the need for disconnection. Each roll measures 16.5 feet in length and features a 4:1 shrink ratio, ensuring a tight and secure fit. The tape operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -45ºC to 125ºC and activates at 125ºC. Its adhesive lining provides robust protection against moisture penetration and forms strong bonds with plastic and metals. The Heat Shrink Tape is primarily used for the repair of electrical cabling and in wire insulation applications. Heat Shrink tape is especially effective when wires cannot be disconnected. This RoHS-compliant tape is ideal for a variety of applications, including preventing rust on pipes, eliminating air leaks in vacuum and ventilation systems, and sealing joints on ducts used in HVAC systems. The tape's internal hot-melt adhesive wall ensures excellent bonding, resistance to mechanical stress, and reliable long-term protection, making it a versatile and essential tool for electrical and insulation repairs.
